Contracted by PineCo Studio to Deliver Scalable Automation for Workforce Management

As part of PineCo Studio, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Removerz, a growing organization in need of a secure and scalable internal platform to automate employee access and data workflows. The goal was to reduce manual overhead, ensure consistent data accuracy, and improve transparency across departments. We delivered a fully custom automation system tailored to their exact operational and security requirements.

Removerz was managing user access and employee information manually across multiple disconnected tools. This led to delays in onboarding, miscommunications between teams, and the risk of over-permissioned users. They needed a system that could:

Automatically assign system access based on employee role and department

Keep employee data synchronized and up-to-date

Provide real-time alerts when key events occurred in the system

Fit within a cost-effective infrastructure and be easy to maintain long-term

We built a headless automation service - no UI, no dashboards - just a robust backend application that runs as a Laravel daemon. Using scheduled tasks, API integrations, and structured logging, the system quietly keeps everything in sync behind the scenes.


Every employee is assigned access based on their role using hierarchical logic. These privileges are synchronized with Google Workspace automatically.


The Laravel service runs scheduled checks and access tasks daily using cron, requiring no user interaction.


A secure MySQL database stores and normalizes employee records. Data changes are tracked and used to trigger access updates.


When events occur - like a new hire or a role change - custom Zapier workflows are triggered to notify appropriate stakeholders via Slack or email.


To manage system communication reliability, we implemented rotating Google Workspace channels, handed off daily via automation.

Daily log files are rotated and secured for analysis. Errors, warnings, and trace events are logged with context for debugging and compliance.

Since its deployment, the User Automation System has quietly transformed Removerz’s internal workflows. Onboarding that once required multiple human touchpoints now completes automatically. Logs provide full transparency, and access security has improved dramatically through enforcement of the principle of least privilege.
